{"id":1692,"date":"2017-04-21T02:21:14","date_gmt":"2017-04-21T02:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wildlifepictures.ir\/?p=1692&#038;lang=en"},"modified":"2025-10-14T18:55:35","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T15:25:35","slug":"alamto-european-broadcast-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wildlifepictures.ir\/en\/alamto-european-broadcast-success\/","title":{"rendered":"European TV Networks Embrace the Documentary \u201cAlamto, a Reptile Wonderland\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In <strong>2016<\/strong>, European television networks including <strong>Ushua\u00efa TV (France)<\/strong>, <strong>RTS (Switzerland)<\/strong>, and <strong>RTVE (Spain)<\/strong> acquired and broadcast the documentary <strong>\u201cAlamto, a Reptile Wonderland\u201d<\/strong>, directed by <strong>Fathollah Amiri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The international distribution of this documentary was carried out by the <strong>IRIB Media Trade<\/strong> (the International Trade Department of Iran Broadcasting) in collaboration with the <strong>International Affairs Division of the Wildlife Pictures Institute<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>This documentary, which focuses on the <strong>reptiles of Ilam Province<\/strong>, has received <strong>numerous awards<\/strong>, including the <strong>Crystal Simorgh and the Award for Best Feature Documentary of Iran at the Cinema Verite Festival<\/strong>, as well as a <strong>commendation from the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU)<\/strong>. It was also recognized as the <strong>best-selling documentary of IRIB in 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Additionally, several Asian television networks have expressed interest in <strong>acquiring the broadcasting rights<\/strong> for this film, with negotiations and pricing currently under review.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a
