{"id":1751,"date":"2017-08-12T04:39:56","date_gmt":"2017-08-12T04:39:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wildlifepictures.ir\/?p=1751&#038;lang=en"},"modified":"2025-10-14T23:28:58","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T19:58:58","slug":"ranger-and-leopard-jackson-hole-finalist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wildlifepictures.ir\/en\/ranger-and-leopard-jackson-hole-finalist\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cRanger and Leopard\u201d Selected as a Finalist at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"p1\">The documentary film <strong>\u201cRanger and Leopard\u201d<\/strong>, co-directed by <strong>Fathollah Amiri and Nima Asgari<\/strong>, is the latest production of the <strong>Wildlife Pictures Institute<\/strong> and has been selected as a finalist at the prestigious <strong>Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival<\/strong> in the United States.<\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>Jackson Hole Festival<\/strong> is recognized as the world\u2019s most important event dedicated to wildlife filmmaking. It is held biennially in the state of <strong>Wyoming, USA<\/strong>, near <strong>Grand Teton National Park<\/strong>, and hosts leading producers and broadcasters of nature documentaries from around the globe.<\/p>\n\n<p>This marks the first time a film from Iran has reached the final stage of this world-renowned event.<\/p>\n\n<p>Major international wildlife production companies such as <strong>BBC Nature, Discovery, ZDF, National Geographic, France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions, Terra Mater, NatGeo Wild, WWF-UK,<\/strong> and <strong>Netflix<\/strong> participate in the festival, competing with their latest productions.<\/p>\n\n<p>The documentary <strong>\u201cRanger and Leopard\u201d<\/strong>, produced by the <strong>IRIB Jame Jam Channel<\/strong>, was selected in the <strong>\u201cPeople and Nature\u201d<\/strong> category from among more than <strong>600 submissions<\/strong>, and will compete alongside three other finalists. This edition of the festival runs from <strong>September 24 to 29 (Mehr 2\u20137)<\/strong> and features acclaimed works such as <strong>\u201cPlanet Earth II\u201d (BBC America)<\/strong> and productions by leading global studios.<\/p>\n\n<p>This <strong>52-minute documentary<\/strong> marks its <strong>first international appearance<\/strong>. Its festival distribution is managed by <strong>Majid Mohammaddoost<\/strong> of the Wildlife Pictures Institute.
