The documentary film \u201cRanger and Leopard\u201d<\/strong>, co-directed by Fathollah Amiri<\/strong> and Nima Asgari<\/strong>, has continued its international success by winning the Best Independent Film Award<\/strong> at the Green Screen International Wildlife Film Festival<\/strong> in Germany.<\/p>\n\n

The Green Screen Festival<\/strong>, one of Europe\u2019s largest annual wildlife events, was held from September 12 to 16<\/strong> in northern Germany on the Baltic Sea coast<\/strong>. The festival hosted more than 20,000 visitors<\/strong>, including filmmakers, producers, and television network representatives from around the world.<\/p>\n\n

The film \u201cRanger and Leopard\u201d<\/strong>, representing Iran as its only entry<\/strong> in the festival, competed alongside works from Germany, Austria, France, Canada, the United States, Turkey, Japan, Russia, Ecuador, Brazil, Finland, India, Kenya, Australia, Serbia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Denmark,<\/strong> and Ireland<\/strong>, and ultimately won the Best Independent Film Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The documentary was screened on September 14, 2018<\/strong>, in the city of Eckernf\u00f6rde<\/strong> at Das Haus<\/strong> cinema, followed by a Q&A session<\/strong> with Fathollah Amiri<\/strong>, one of the film\u2019s directors, which received an enthusiastic audience response<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
