{"id":4368,"date":"2025-10-14T18:31:29","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T15:01:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wildlifepictures.ir\/tanavash-best-film-wildlife-conservation-festival-ny\/"},"modified":"2025-10-14T18:34:26","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T15:04:26","slug":"tanavash-best-film-wildlife-conservation-festival-ny","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wildlifepictures.ir\/en\/tanavash-best-film-wildlife-conservation-festival-ny\/","title":{"rendered":"New York Wildlife Conservation Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The documentary film <strong>\u201cTanhavash\u201d<\/strong>, produced by the <strong>Wildlife Pictures Institute<\/strong>, won the <strong>Best Foreign Documentary Award<\/strong> at the <strong>New York Wildlife Conservation Film Festival (WCFF)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>At this prestigious event, held from <strong>October 15 to 24<\/strong> in <strong>New York City<\/strong>, the documentary <strong>\u201cTanhavash\u201d<\/strong> directed by <strong>Fathollah Amiri<\/strong> was recognized among the top international documentaries. <strong>Majid Mohammaddoost<\/strong>, the film\u2019s editor and Director of International Affairs at the Wildlife Pictures Institute, received the award on behalf of the production team.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Synopsis:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The Asiatic cheetah is a distinct subspecies of the African cheetah that has vanished from all parts of Asia except Iran \u2014 where it is known as the <strong>Iranian Cheetah<\/strong>. Today, only a small number of these valuable animals remain in the wild, and their survival is under serious threat.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>The film, produced by <strong>IRIB Semnan Center<\/strong> and commissioned by the <strong>Provincial TV Network Center<\/strong>, explores the life of the <strong>Asiatic cheetah in Kavir National Park<\/strong> \u2014 Iran\u2019s largest national park. <strong>\u201cTanhavash\u201d<\/strong> has previously received <strong>several national and international awards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
