Wildlife Pictures Institute of Iran

(Enjoy it, protect it)

The Wildlife Pictures Institute of Iran was founded in 2004 by Fathollah Amiri with the motto “Enjoy it, protect it.” As an independent, non governmental organization, the institute has focused on producing specialized documentary films centered on Iran’s wildlife, aiming to build a bridge between awareness, beauty, and environmental responsibility.

The works produced by the institute, grounded in remarkable artistic and scientific quality, have attracted a wide audience both in Iran and internationally. At the same time, they have made a tangible impact on the attitudes of local communities in protected areas, regions that serve as the habitat of exceptional species such as the Asiatic cheetah, the Persian leopard, the spider-tailed horned viper as a newly discovered and extraordinary species, the houbara bustard, the great bustard, and many other rare creatures of this land.
