Mohammad Ala is an Iranian researcher and professor specializing in management and development studies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tehran and a PhD from Louisiana State University. Ala has spent many years teaching Business Administration at California State University in Los Angeles, and has also served as a visiting professor at universities in Tehran, Beijing, and several African countries. A significant part of his research and academic work has been used as reference material in university textbooks in the United States.
Alongside his academic career, Ala has experience in managing and consulting on cultural and media projects, and he oversees several Iranian websites, including the Persian Gulf Online Organization. His involvement in environmental film projects has continued through co-production and close collaboration with the Wildlife Pictures Institute. He has produced two documentaries, Houbara and In the Realm of the Spider-tailed Viper, both of which have achieved strong and successful appearances at major international festivals.
