Sogol Moradi is a film and documentary editor. She was born in 1983 in Miyaneh and graduated from Soore University in Tehran with a bachelor’s degree in Cinema, specializing in Editing, and a master’s degree in Dramatic Literature. She began her professional career in 2008 and gained extensive experience by working on a wide range of documentary and fiction projects in the years that followed.
Throughout her career, Sogol Moradi has edited numerous works, including projects in both social documentary and wildlife and nature filmmaking. Some of her notable collaborations include My Feet Like Tickles, A Frame for Solitude, Romadi Report, The Mountain Boy, Baaveh, Ahmad, and Maghisof.
Her interest in environmental topics led her toward an ongoing collaboration with the Wildlife Pictures Institute. This partnership began with the documentary Houbara, which earned her the Best Editing Award at the fourteenth edition of the Cinema Verite International Documentary Film Festival. She later contributed to several other productions from the institute, including Houbara, Realm, Dog Eater, The Return of the Persian Onager, as well as the series Leopard Operations and Wild Moments of Iran.
Alongside her work in documentary cinema, Moradi has collaborated with various television networks and cultural organizations and continues to work as an editor across a wide range of film and television projects.
